WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING VICTIMS?
Questions to Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford
On April 23, 2026, the Nevada Attorney General sent us a cease-and-desist letter. Not investigating fraud. Not protecting victims. Just threatening us for trying to report insurance fraud that nearly killed my wife and left me permanently disabled. We want to ask Nevada: Why?

RE: Markle v. Nevada Division of Insurance
Dear Mr. Markle:
The Nevada Attorney General has been retained to represent the Nevada Division of Insurance. We demand that all communications to the Division be directed to our office from now on.
Further, while your wife—Ms. Jessica Markle—is not a named party in this litigation, we also request all communications made from her to the Division be directed to our office.
The Division and its officers have been instructed to direct all communications to our office.
Failure to comply with this letter, including circumvention via third-party contact, will result in seeking appropriate sanctions with the Court.
At the time of this letter, we have not received formal service. The Division and Attorney General does not waive service.
Sincerely,
AARON D. FORD
Attorney General

THE QUESTIONS: WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING VICTIMS?
Question 1: Why attack victims instead of fraudsters?
I got cut open. My organs were removed. I lost a decade of life expectancy. My wife was left with $83,000 in stolen inventory. Instead of investigating the insurance companies that denied coverage, the Attorney General sent me a cease-and-desist letter threatening sanctions.
Why does Aaron Ford only threaten the people who got hurt, not the companies that hurt them?
Question 2: Why protect billion-dollar insurance companies?
I handed the Nevada Division of Insurance documented insurance fraud. Recorded admissions. Clear paper trail. Everything they need to prosecute.
Instead of investigating, the Division is silent. The Attorney General is threatening victims.
Who does Aaron Ford actually work for—the people of Nevada, or the insurance companies that benefit from his protection?
Question 3: Why are you closing Jessica’s complaints with no legal basis?
Jessica Markle filed a constituent service complaint—a non-party victim asking her government to investigate fraud. The Division closed her complaint. No explanation.
The AG says it’s because I filed a Writ of Mandamus.
Show us the NRS statute that says a wife loses her right to file complaints because her husband filed a constitutional petition. Show it. Because it doesn’t exist.
Question 4: Why isn’t the CHP being held accountable?
The CHP report omits a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It omits $83,000 in inventory. It omits that a chameleon carrier with a revoked operating authority was on that road.
Where’s the criminal investigation into falsified accident reports? Where’s the demand for destroyed EDR data? Where’s the indictment?
Instead, the AG is threatening victims.
Question 5: Where’s the investigation into Enterprise destroying evidence?
Enterprise sent the rental vehicle to Copart 30 days after the crash. The Electronic Data Recorder—critical evidence—was destroyed.
Why hasn’t Aaron Ford charged Enterprise with evidence destruction? Why hasn’t he demanded the V2 EDR from Progressive? Why hasn’t he opened a criminal investigation into spoliation?
Instead, he’s threatening victims.
Question 6: Why did you publicly say you stand against corruption?
Aaron Ford ran on fighting corruption. He gave speeches about protecting victims. He made public statements about holding powerful interests accountable.
And now, with documented insurance fraud in front of you, with an injured victim who stared you in the eyes, your response is cease-and-desist letters and sanctions threats.
How do you reconcile that? How do you sleep at night?
TO NEVADA VOTERS
This is what regulatory capture looks like.
You elect an Attorney General to protect you. To go after fraudsters. To stand up for victims. Instead, Aaron Ford’s office is protecting Dairyland Insurance, Sentry Insurance, Spartan Transport, the CHP, Enterprise, and every other entity that benefited from the fraud that nearly killed an injured family.
They’re not attacking the fraudsters. They’re attacking the victims.
This is documented. This is evidence. This is public record.
Remember this at election time.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
✓ Formal Service: We’re filing our Writ of Mandamus with proper service. The AG wants formal service? They’re going to get it. Every question. Every piece of evidence. Every contradiction.
✓ Public Record: This becomes a matter of public record. A judge will examine the AG’s conduct and the Division’s regulatory capture.
✓ Voter Accountability: Nevada voters will see exactly what their Attorney General did when he had a chance to protect victims instead of corporations.
✓ Investigation Continues: Project Black Phoenix continues documenting and investigating. This is just the beginning.
